Thursday Is Pick Of The Week But Storms Returning

The atmosphere is settling down after another round of spotty downpours and storms. Temperatures drop into the mid-60s tonight with patchy fog developing by sunrise. Some locations may have visibility reduced to less than a mile for a time Thursday morning.

Thursday remains our pick-of-the-week with plenty of sun, warm highs in the upper 80s, and storm chances mainly holding off until very late...well after 5pm. But we'll be on radar watch up north during the evening as storms may intensify south of Lake Michigan and dive southward... possibly bringing gusty wind and hail.

The weather pattern remains rather unsettled Friday into Monday of next week with a daily chance of showers and storms. With an upper low spinning southward from Michigan late Saturday then remaining nearly stationary over Central Indiana Sunday/Monday. Typically this set up brings scattered to numerous downpours/storms during peak-heating hours. We'll fine tune coverage when we get closer to the weekend - Sean Ash
