Three firefighters injured while fighting Mooresville house fire


MOORESVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) - Three firefighters were injured in a house fire in Mooresville Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to the fire on Delwood Drive around 2:30 p.m. There was heavy fire in the back of the two-story home, which was brought under control in about 15 minutes.

One of the firefighters was taken to the emergency room from the scene, a second was taken a short time later. The third injured firefighter was treated and released at the scene.

The condition of the injured firefighters is not known at this time.

No civilians were injured in the fire, which remains under investigation.

Firefighters from Mooresville, Brown Township, Plainfield and Madison Township assisted in fighting the fire. It is not clear which department the injured firefighters were from.

Two people died in a house fire in Mooresville on Monday.
