Thieves steal Riley donation box from south side gas station

Two thieves stole a Riley Hospital donation box from a south Indianapolis gas station.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Metro police are looking for two men who were caught on camera stealing money meant for sick children.

Police say the pair snatched the Riley Hospital for Children donation box from the BP gas station at Southport Road and Belmont Avenue. They even had a tool to cut the wire that secured the box to the counter.

The men took off in a blue Dodge Ram pick-up truck. Get a closer look at the thieves in the surveillance video in the video player above this story.
