TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHR) — A Terre Haute man is accused of taking video of another man in a bathroom at a fitness business.

David Nathaniel Powell, 67, has been arrested on a charge of voyeurism, our newsgathering partner Tribune Star reported. He was booked on Friday morning but released on bond Friday afternoon.

City police were notified Feb. 19 after an employee of Planet Fitness said he caught Powell holding a phone camera over the top of a bathroom stall to take a photo of the employee inside the stall.

That employee also said he had noticed Powell in the men's locker room standing naked in front of a mirror for a long period of time.

When the employee took Powell's phone, he found video of himself on it and deleted it, the Tribune Star reported.

Surveillance video corroborated the employee's statement.

Powell, on his personal Facebook page, identifies himself as pastor at Grace Temple TH, a nondenominational church in Terre Haute.
