Teens arrested for Whitestown armed robbery


WHITESTOWN, Ind. (WTHR) — Police arrested three teens after an armed robbery at an AT&T store in Whitestown Sunday.

The teens allegedly robbed the store on Whitestown Parkway, just off Interstate 65.

Police received the call just before 3 p.m. and officers quickly found a car matching the description of the one used in the robbery. Officers detained the male driver and female passenger for questioning.

While officeres stopped the vehicle, they got reports of three teenage suspects running toward Zionsville soccer fields.

Police evacuated the crowd at the soccer fields and found the teens suspected of robbing the store. They are now in th ecustody of Delaware County Juvenile Detention. The teens in the car were eventually released.

Officers later found a gun and stolen phones.
