Suspect identified in Oct. 12 deadly shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Police are looking for a 38-year-old man for a murder earlier this month.

A man later identified as 36-year-old Philly Alexander was found shot near 10th & Rural streets around 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12. He was taken to Eskenazi, but later died.

Metro Police now say Demond Bender is the man responsible. If you see him, you're asked not to approach him but call 911 immediately.
