BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - Officials are drawing up plans to make an intersection safer after a crash there last month killed an Indianapolis woman.

According to our partners at The Lebanon Reporter, the county highway department is looking to possibly turn the intersection 400 East and 100 South into a four-way stop, with flashing signs and new pavement markings.

A decision hasn't been finalized.

A Purdue University group is doing a safety audit of the intersection while the highway department collects crash data.
