(WTHR) — A new study shows a majority of couples are agreeing to limit their holiday spending this year, and that might be the safest route to take.

The report from Quicken also found that couples who don't set spending limits are twice as likely to wish their spouse or significant other spent more on them.

If you splurged on a little something for yourself this year, you're not alone.

Nearly a third of Americans say they spend more on themselves during the holiday season than they do on their spouse or significant other.
