Study: Indy ranked #2 in the country for jobs in 2017

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A new study found that Indianapolis is the #2 city in the country for jobs in 2017.

Glassdoor's Best Cities for Jobs in 2017 found that Indy came second only to Pittsburgh.

They determined the rankings based on hiring opportunity, cost of living and job satisfaction. They found more than 80,000 open jobs in Indianapolis with a median salary of $43,000. Indianapolis employees rated their job satisfaction level at a 3.3 out of 5.

Other cities in the top 10 were Kansas City, Raleigh, St. Louis, Memphis, Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Louisville.
