MUNCIE, Ind. (WTHR) - A group called Students for Life of America claims it was denied a Ball State University grant because of its pro-life views.

The organization applied to receive $300 in funding from BSU.

They wanted to use that money to share educational resources with pregnant and parenting students.

They claim they were denied while a university committee gave money to other groups with opposing views. The group has filed a lawsuit.

We sought reaction from BSU but a spokesperson said they do not comment on pending litigation.
