SCOTTSBURG, Ind. (WTHR) - Police in southern Indiana arrested a teenager for allegedly threatening to blow up a school.

State police say the 15-year-old texted another student that he "put a bomb in a locker" at Scottsburg High School.

Administrators immediately evacuated the building and officers searched the school but never found a bomb. They say the threat was a hoax.

The teenager is at a juvenile detention center on charges of intimidation.
