INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indiana State Police are sharing a video tribute to a fallen trooper on social media.

The video shows the memorial service for ISP Trooper Peter Stephan, including the funeral service, procession and graveside memorial.

ISP Supt. Doug Carter offers words of support for Stephan's 6-month-old daughter, Harper.

"Harper, you're of course too little today to understand. My hope for you, though, is that one day you can watch this video that's being produced and really understand what a special man your dad was. How proud he was of you, how much he loved you and how he dedicated his very life to serving other people."

Stephan, 27, was killed October 11 when he crashed his patrol car while driving to assist another trooper east of Lafayette.

The tribute was produced by IMPD Ofc. Ron Shelnutt, who has created videos for other officers who have died in the line of duty in central Indiana.
