More than 200 years of sports history came together late Thursday on the infamous "Yard of Bricks" at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Stanley Cup arrived at Indianapolis International Airport in preparation for its appearance at Friday night's Indy Fuel game, but made a pit stop on its way to Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Hockey's "holy grail" was brought to the start-finish line at IMS for a photo op with the Borg-Warner Trophy. The Cup was first handed out in 1893, the Borg-Warner in 1936.

Fans who bought a special ticket package for Friday night's Fuel game will get a chance to have their photo taken with the Stanley Cup at the game.
