Eyewitness Sports caught up with team owner and former talk show host David Letterman, who was donning his now-famous retirement beard.
We asked him about the signifigance of the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
"And I had to pick up some dry cleaning. So it's worth it in two senses," he said.
"The beard looks great," said Rich Nye.
"No, it doesn't, but thank you. I appreciate that," said Dave.
"Do you mind if I sit on your lap and ask for a few things for Christmas?" Rich joked.
Dave looked at his companion in the golf cart. "Take care of him," he ordered, gesturing to Rich.
"It's all about Graham today. That's all I care about," he said, referring to Graham Rahal, who started at the 26th spot.
