INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri's future with the team is unclear.

In a news conference on Monday, Colts General Manager Chris Ballard answered questions about the Colts' season and what he thinks the future looks like.

One of the questions that arose during the news conference was whether Adam Vinatieri would remain the Colts' kicker.

Vinatieri missed an extra point and a field goal during the playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs — an unusual occurrence for the veteran player.

"Texted him last night. I think he can still kick in the league and be a really good kicker," Ballard said referring to Vinatieri.

When asked if Vinatieri would be a future kicker in Indianapolis, Ballard responded; "We'll see."

The Colts lost 31-13 in Saturday's game to end their season.
