INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Wednesday's winter weather is wreaking havoc on the roads - and inside Hinkle Fieldhouse.
As rain and ice fell on the roads and highways around Indianapolis, Wednesday's Butler-Villanova game was stopped for nearly 15 minutes midway through the first half when raindrops began falling through the arena roof.
While a worker scaled the rafters with a bucket to catch the drips, Butler's newest star - Butler Blue IV - took to the court to entertain Bulldog fans.
During the delay, there was plenty of finger- and paw-pointing as to the cause of the leak.
The game resumed after a 13-minute delay, with the Bulldogs leading 13-9.
The delay was worth it for Bulldog fans as Kamar Baldwin hit a three-pointer at the buzzer for a 79-76 win.
