SHERIDAN, Ind. (WTHR) — Operation Football week 6 has arrived. That means another school was up early for our Sunrise pep rally.
Sheridan High School's football program has a storied history, with head coach Larry "Bud" Wright having coached the Blackhawks since 1966. His run has come with great success, winning multiple Sectional, Regional, Semi-State and State Championships.

So far in Sheridan's four wins so far this season, the team has outscored opponents 179-6.
The No. 12 ranked Blackhawks will try to continue that success for the Homecoming game tonight at 7 against Taylor.
