INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Gold medal gymnast Simone Biles says she likes the direction Indy-based USA Gymnastics is moving in.
The organization is making changes in hopes of moving past the Larry Nassar sex abuse scandal.
"I think it's going in a positive direction, so I think that's good. We hope they are making the right decisions so that we can kinda get out of that dark place," Biles said.
The 22 year old is one of more than 100 women who say Nassar abused them during medical treatment.
Since he was sentenced, USA Gymnastics has replaced its president and several top executives. It has also filed for bankruptcy.
