INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — On Christmas morning next Tuesday, 1,000 Indianapolis kids will wake up with presents to open.
That's all in thanks to Amp Harris and his annual toy giveaway now in its 15th year, and it only keeps getting bigger!
The big event was held Tuesday night in downtown Indianapolis and all the kids, as well as their families, were treated to live music and food.
The kids also received their presents and Amp was joined by some pretty special friends!
Boomer, the Pacers mascot was in attendance and so were a couple of Colts players like Darius Leonard, Jabaal Sheard and Robert Mathis who all came to support the cause and spread a message of hope.
