Bosma provides solutions and creates opportunities for those navigating vision blindness. Deana Haworth, Bosma's Dining in the Dark Co-Chair, shares "Bosma provides really important services to folks across the state who are blind or visually impaired through programming and rehabilitation. So this is a night that we all gather together."

Bosma is hosting their annual fundraiser, Dining in the Dark on September 16th. Haworth explains, "They dim the lights really low and we put sleep shades on. And as part of the experience, we have ambassadors at the table who guide us through the dining and drinking experience." The ambassadors are blind or visually impaired and "they give us their best tips and tricks!"

Tammy Butler Robinson, Dining in the Dark Co-Chair shares her personal connection to Bosma. "My son is legally blind and he has gone through the programs that Bosma has provided, allowing for there to be employment opportunities, which is really key for those that are visually impaired. So I'm excited by the opportunity to do fundraising to be able to support the programs that Bosma provides."
