GREENWOOD, Ind. — ARTICLE SPONSORED BY CARTER'S MY PLUMBER

Carter's My Plumber has served the Indianapolis area for three generations.

Owner Kelson Carter is very proud of Carter's outreach program, Carter Cares.

"We got started with our Carter Cares program during the pandemic. Your first line of defense is going to be hot water and soap [to keep the germs out,]" Carter said. "During that time we decided that there are a lot of people in need out there that aren't able to purchase a new water heater."

Carter's donates one water heater a month to a family in need.

Ali Carter, HR Director for Carter's My Plumber, shares the requirements for receiving a free installed water heater through Carter Cares. Nominees must be a homeowner. Additionally, the individual must be a senior (over 70 years old), a widow, disabled/handicapped, or a single parent with an annual income less than $40,000.

To nominate someone for a water heater from Carter Cares, call (317) 859 - 9999 or visit online at CartersMyPlumber.com and answer questions under the "Carter Cares Water Heater Give Away" tab.
