Southern Indiana man arrested for child molesting

PIKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — A 32-year-old man is now facing felony charges after an investigation into a girl younger than 14 being molested.

Indiana State Police has been investigating the incident since Oct. 27. Officers arrested James Johnson Tuesday for allegedly molesting the girl in October. Johnson is from Petersburg, Indiana.

He is facing two charges of child molesting — one a level 1 felony and the other a level 4 felony.

Johnson is currently being held in the Pike County Jail on a $350,000 bond.
