INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – An Indianapolis-based software startup is expanding.

MetaCX is increasing their operations here and adding jobs.

They hope to add 75 jobs by the year 2023 by investing $1.4 million to renovate and equip office space in the Salesforce Tower.

The company is led by former ExactTarget President Scott McCorkle who talked about why they're investing in Indiana.

"It's a great place, I've lived my whole life in Indiana. I can't imagine starting a company any other place," said McCorkle. "We've been part of a long history of successful software companies, Software Artisy, ExactTarget, Salesforce is here, it's great talent, work ethic, a 500 mile circle and you've got the greatest research colleges in the world."

MetaCX helps clients and businesses organize and manage software.

During 2016 and 2017, tech jobs in the Indianapolis metro grew at a rate of 18.4 percent, which is more than double the U.S. average and ranks sixth across U.S. and Canada, according to CBRE’s Tech-30 report.
