SoBro restaurant urges robber 'next time, just ask for a job'

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A Broad Ripple restaurant was robbed Saturday night and surveillance cameras captured images of a suspect.

It happened about 10:30 Saturday evening. A manager told Eyewitness News that there were customers in the business at the time but none in the immediate area of the robbery.

In a post on social media, the business sent a message to the suspect, saying "$80 isn't worth 10-15 years in jail. Next time, just ask for a job. Our delivery drivers make that almost every night."

No one was hurt.

There's no word on progress in the police investigation of the incident.
