Snowy And Cold Monday On Tap

A well-advertised shot of unseasonably cold air arrives in Central Indiana overnight. The upper level storm associated with it squeezes-out rain/snow showers this evening but within the cold core Monday expect only snow showers...perhaps widespread coverage too.

Lowered visibility and a quick dusting are main threats of snow showers Monday... which at times will look like a snow globe.

The bigger story may be the unseasonably cold air mass producing a winter chill.

Wind chills Monday morning have some sting to them in the teens and afternoon "high" temperatures in the mid-30s will be 30 degrees colder than average...more like mid-January than mid-April.

Snow showers likely linger into Monday night with some areas getting a dusting to under an inch. Thick cloud cover lasts into at least midday Tuesday before a clearing sky Tuesday evening.
