COLUMBUS, Ind. (WTHR) – Some things never change.

Tony Stewart was back in Columbus this week, racing at the Bartholomew County Fair.

Smoke won the Tuesday night midget event, and his dad raced, too, finishing 12th.

After the race, Stewart did what he usually does when he wins.

He took his trophy to Franke’s Dairy Queen in hopes of getting free ice cream.

It’s been working for forty years.
