Simon Pagenaud got to see his sculpture for the Borg-Warner Trophy

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — After winning the Indianapolis 500, there has been one thing left before Simon Pagenaud is forever immortalized -- his face needs to be put on the Borg-Warner Trophy.

Before that can happen, a sculpture of his face needs to be done.

Today he got to see that sculpture for the first time.

Pagenaud responded by saying, "Oh hey! Oh! Wow!" when it was unveiled.

The Indy 500 winner joked that the sculpture makes him look slimmer. He also said the sculpture has nice hair which was very important to him.
