Showers, heat, humidity - Live Doppler 13 Blog

The heat continues today as a stalled boundary lifts northward through the day as a warm front. Hazy, hot and humid otherwise with highs near 90.

This front will prompt stray showers, especially through the late afternoon and mainly north of I-70.

We'll see sitting on the south-side of this boundary for the first few days of next week keeping the forecast mainly dry but wildly warm for this time of year.

Mostly to partly sunny skies are in store for Monday with highs in the lower 90s.

We have an opportunity to break several high temperature records in Indianapolis.

This pattern looks to break with a cold front set to arrive next Thursday. A few scattered showers and storms will be possible.

We will actually see temperatures fall back below average for highs back in the upper 60s behind the front on Friday.

Temperatures will fall drastically by Friday with highs only in the mid to upper 60s and lows possibly in the upper 40s lasting through next weekend.
