'The Shop' donating proceeds from Indy T-shirts to workers in need

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – All the shutdowns and big event cancellations in downtown Indianapolis are impacting about 30,000 people who work in the local arts industry.

That's why the Arts Council of Indianapolis is starting an emergency fund in partnership with "The Shop" to help them out.

Thanks a coalition of community partners they already have raised $225,000.

The money will go to artists, administrators and affiliated workers.

"The Shop" is selling Indy T-shirts and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the cause.

The shirts cost $10 a piece and come in multiple colors.
