Shooting on Monument Circle injures teen

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTHR) - Metro police are investigating a downtown shooting that left one person wounded.

Police were called to the south side of Monument Circle just after 8:30 p.m. Friday. Officers found a 14-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the hand.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

A short time later, police caught a 16-year-old with two guns blocks away from the scene.

Investigators suspect the teens were arguing with a group of adults when the shooting started.
