Seymour man killed in I-65 crash

CROTHERSVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) - A Seymour man was killed in a crash on Interstate 65 Tuesday.

State police responded to the crash in the southbound lanes near the 40 mile marker around 5 p.m. Investigators say 72-year-old Randall Carr of Seymour was traveling south on I-65 when his pick-up truck left the highway for an unknown reason near the Uniontown exit.

The vehicle struck an embankment and rolled before stopping in a field on the west side of the interstate.

Carr was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation and police say toxicology results are pending.
