Sewage complaints ongoing at Marion County court annex

MARION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — Sewage problems at the annex building of Marion County's juvenile court has led to a complaint with the county's Public Health Department.

And employees say this is now the fourth time sewage has backed up there.

The health department inspected the building yesterday after learning the sewer had backed up and caused flooding.

According to a spokesperson for the agency, the court has been ordered to remove the carpets and disinfect the affected areas.

The health department says they'll be following up. So far, everyone has cooperated with their findings.
