INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly kicked off his six- day RV tour Sunday.

Monday he's planning to officially announce that he's seeking re-election to the United States Senate.

The Democrat made the first stop at the Speedway VFW Sunday afternoon.

"I go to all 92 counties because every vote counts,” Donnelly said. “Every vote in Owen County is as important as every vote in Greene County as every vote in Vigo County as every vote in Marion County. And it's not so much the vote as there is a person behind that vote.”

Senator Donnelly plans to stop at UAW Local 1963 in Anderson Monday to announce his re-election bid for Congress.
