INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Want to buy some one-of-a-kind racing collectables?

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports is planning its first-ever garage sale at its race shop November 3. The sale will include race wheels, bodywork, and springs and gears.

Some of the items have been autographed by team driver James Hinchcliffe.

The sale will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the shop at 6803 Coffman Drive on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Proceeds will benefit team owner Sam Schmidt's charity, Conquer Paralysis Now.

Shoppers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for a food drive benefiting a central Indiana food bank. The race team recommends items like coffee, pasta, oatmeal, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, sugar, and salt and pepper.
