UPDATE: Patrick Waddell's plea on social media worked in his favor!

On Monday evening, Patrick shared the good news on Facebook that his necklace containing his late wife's and his conjoined wedding rings necklace had been found.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WTHR) — A man has asked the public for help in searching for his missing necklace that honors his late wife.

Patrick Waddell posted a photo and caption on Facebook on July 27 to state his necklace fell off his neck around the main road and site 3026 while on vacation at the Ocean Lakes Family Campground.

The necklace had his late wife's and his wedding rings looped together so they couldn't be separated.

Waddell lost his wife to colon cancer nearly four years ago.

The post goes on to say, "If anyone picked them up, I can't begin to tell you what it would mean to get them back."

Waddell will be with his two kids and wife's family until Friday, Aug. 3, and if you find the necklace, Waddell asks you to call 704-408-5054.
