INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Month of May events may have been canceled or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but some musicians are still ready to rock out ahead of what would have been race weekend.

Rockers joined IMS President J. Douglas Boles and 2018 Indy 500 champion Will Power to put on the Miller Lite Carb Day Rock 'n Roll Reunion.

Bret Michaels of Poison, Don Barnes of 38 Special, Kelly Hansen of Foreigner and Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon joined the reunion, available to watch on YouTube.

The group answered questions, reminisced on performing at IMS and talked about their lives as rock stars.

The video is an effort to help race fans celebrate the 500 at home on the usual race weekend. The weekend's events will culminate with a special broadcast of the 2019 Indianapolis 500 on WTHR Sunday at 2 p.m.
