Richmond Hill explosion profiled on "American Greed"

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A devastating story that rocked central Indiana was featured on national TV Monday night.

CNBC's "American Greed" focused on the deadly Richmond Hill explosion. They talked to residents and even some Eyewitness News reporters about what it was like.

"I probably hadn't been asleep but maybe 20 minutes and the loudest ungodly sound I've ever heard in my life woke us straight up out of bed," said one witness.

Two people were killed in the 2012 blast, which was part of an insurance fraud scheme. Just last week, a ruling from the Indiana Supreme Court upheld the conviction and sentence of one of the people found guilty in the case.
