INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indiana Pacers forward Glenn Robinson III will be sidelined for at least two months after ankle surgery, according to an ESPN report.

ESPN NBA writer Adrian Wojnarowski reports Robinson will be out until at least mid-December. He suffered a high ankle sprain in training camp, which was going to require a two-month rehabilitation. The required surgery will extend that window by 2-4 weeks.

Robinson averaged 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds last year and was expected to help the team fill the void left by the departure of All-Star Paul George.

Robinson won the NBA's Slam Dunk competition at last February's All-Star Weekend.
