INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - The Indianapolis Fire Department says several railcars collided Friday morning spilling grain and a non-flammable liquid.
IFD says the collision happened on the CSX rail line near Harding and Henry streets.
Several CSX railcars came together on the tracks, resulting in two of those rail cars leaking.
One railcar was leaking grain and the other car was leaking a non-flammable liquid.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by CSX officials.
CSX will off-load the non-flammable liquid into other storage vessels and a clean-up team will be called in for the spilled material.
No injuries were reported.
