ATLANTA (WTHR) - President Jimmy Carter has a birthday October 1, and you're invited to send him best wishes.

Now the oldest living former president of the United States, Carter turns 95.

Despite advancing age, Carter and his wife Rosalynn stay busy. They have a long and strong connection with Habitat for Humanity. Over 35 years, they've been part of the construction or renovation of more than 4,300 homes.

The Carter Center, a human rights organization founded by the former president, created a web page for people to say happy birthday.
