Police search for man who robbed Greenwood Burger King at gunpoint Sunday

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WTHR) — Police need your help finding the man who investigators say robbed a fast food restaurant at gunpoint Sunday evening.

The unidentified man was seen on surveillance video wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans as he walked into the Burger King at 5979 N. SR-135 around 8:30 p.m. He showed workers what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The manager opened a register to give him the cash, but the suspect reportedly just took the entire drawer.

He left and drove away in an early 2000s dark blue Chevy Impala with a temporary paper license plate in the lower left-hand corner of the rear window, though witnesses couldn't say what the plate read. He was last seen driving southbound on SR-135.
