Police investigating after shots fired into Wendy's window, no injuries reported

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WTHR) - Police are investigating after shots were fired at a Wendy's restaurant in Brownsburg, shattering a window Sunday night.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at the Wendy's located on N Green Street off of IN-267 in Brownsburg around 8:30 p.m.

Officers say Wendy's employees called police after one of their employees was taking out the trash and heard multiple shots fired.

Police don't know whether the shots were aimed at the employee at this time.

At least one of the rounds hit the restaurant and shattered a window.

No injuries were reported.

Police are still investigating and trying to pin point the suspect's vehicle.

Police are also working to talk to employees and are going to check surrounding surveillance cameras.
