INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Four people, including two teens, were injured in a crash involving a school bus and a car on the westbound side of Interstate 70 approaching Emerson Avenue Thursday morning.

Troopers believe a silver car was driving at a high rate of speed along I-70 westbound when the driver lost control and spun into the side of the bus.

Police say 36-year-old Sarah Nuckols of Indianapolis was injured in the crash and transported to the hospital.

Police later arrested Nuckols for driving under the influence.

According to Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine, the Warren Township bus was carrying seven high school students and three adults. Two of those teens were injured, along with one of the adults on the bus.

Perrine said investigators believe the car lost control and struck the bus in front of its left rear wheel.

Three right lanes were closed to traffic for approximately an hour between 10 and 11 a.m.
