FORT WAYNE (WTHR) - A Delta flight taking off from Fort Wayne International Airport slid into a snowbank Tuesday night.

Officials told Fort Wayne's NBC conditions appeared to be good for Delta flight 3526 to take off, but ice forming on the painted areas of the runway caused the plane to slide into a snowbank on the taxiway.

Fifty-one people were on the flight when the accident occurred. No injuries were reported.

Airport operations were delayed while crews got everyone off the plane.
