People gather for candlelight vigil at site of April Tinsley memorial

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WTHR) — People are gathering in Fort Wayne Sunday night to remember a little girl who was killed 30 years ago.

A memorial with a flowering pink magnolia tree and a bench are being installed where she attended school.

Police caught the killer earlier this month, thanks to DNA.

Fifty-nine-year-old John D. Miller of Grabill faces murder and child molesting charges in her death.
