CARMEL, Ind. (WTHR) - Penn ended Carmel's hopes for a championship repeat in a Class 6A semi-state Friday.

Penn quarterback Ryan Lynch scored on a 23-yard touchdown run to give Penn a 21-0 lead. As the Greyhounds tried to get back into the game, Caden Paquette intercepted a tipped pass and returned it 92 yards for the touchdown and a 27-0 lead.

Atticus Clouse caught a touchdown pass to get Carmel on the board, but their season came to an end for the defending champs with a 34-7 loss.

The Kingsmen will face Ben Davis Saturday night for the title.
