Pelosi, Buttigieg set to address Young Democrats convention downtown this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Some Democratic presidential hopefuls are coming to Indianapolis this week for the Young Democrats of America Convention that started Wednesday.

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be here Thursday night. His speech is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be here on Friday night.

The convention runs through Saturday at the Crowne Plaza downtown.

This is the first time in 90 years the event is being held in Indianapolis.

The Young Democrats of America have more than 150,000 members across the country.
