Peace Learning Center's annual MLK celebration Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - The Peace Learning Center will hold its annual MLK Community Celebration Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis located at 615 W. 43rd Street.

The annual event to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King will have educational opportunities, art, music, dancing, and community fair with more than 30 organizations.

Here is a schedule of the events:

MLK Community Celebration

1:00 p.m. – Opening Ceremony with G3 Steppers

1:20 p.m. – Performance by local artist

1:30 p.m. – Black Excellence Panel moderated by Skye Berger

2:20 p.m. – Performance by local artist

2:30 p.m. – Presentation of Power of Peace Award

2:45 p.m. – Performance by local artist
