INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Governor Eric Holcomb could be facing an investigation over some flights he took last year.

On Friday, the chair of the Indiana Democratic Party filed a letter with the secretary of state's office and the inspector general, asking them to look into the matter.

Democrats say Holcomb never filed the flights on his campaign report, violating state law.

"Filing a defective campaign finance report in the state of Indiana is a serious offense," said John Zody, Democratic Party chair. "We believe that was done because there are questions surrounding those flights. They should have been reported on his report and they were not."

We reached out to Governor Holcomb late Friday. We will update this story when we receive his response.
