MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Wash. (WTHR) – Parking practice ended with the car in an unusual spot.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue arrived to the Community Center to find a vehicle in the middle of the swimming pool.

The four-door black sedan was mostly underwater, with the hood was completely submerged and water reached the bottoms of the windows.

According to the fire department spokesman on Twitter, the car careened off course during a practice parking session.

The car and two occupants ended up in the pool.

Both people inside the car escaped on their own. Authorities ruled it driver error.

Gaithersburg Police are investigating.

The pool was not open during the crash.
